2010 Calendar of Events
Saturday, June 26 8:00PM Bananas Comedy Club - This is our annual fund raiser thanks to the management of the Bananas Club at the Mercury Motel on Rte 9 in Poughkeepsie. Tickets are $15 per person and the Lodge keeps all the proceeds for our charity efforts. Friends are always welcome. Call Bob Brickner for reservations at 845-462-7308.
Closed meeting - Wednesday July 7th @ 6:30 PM - at the Masonic Temple. Premeeting collation will be at 6:30 PM and the meeting begins at 7:15PM.
Wednesday, July 21 7:00PM at Dutchess Stadium: Renegades vs the Staten Island Yankees - Tickets are $15.00 each for premium box seats with waitress service. Call Mort at 845-832-8632 to reserve your tickets.
Closed meeting - Wednesday August 4th @ 6:30 PM at the Masonic Temple. As usual, pre-meeting collation is at 6:30 PM and the meeting will begin at 7:15PM
Sunday, August 15 2:00 PM - Shadowlands Theatre, Ellenville, NY: "The Marvelous Wonderettes" a musical featuring your favorite hits of the 50's and 60's.
This is a professional Actors Equity theatre and promises to be a fun show. Tickets are only $19.00 each. Call Bob at 845-462-7308 to reserve your tickets, since only a limited number will be ordered...don't get shut out. A post-show dinner location is TBD...any suggestions will be welcome.

Dear Brothers,
- On April 19th, we hosted the 72nd Pythian District meeting.
- On April 21st, we enjoyed a pot luck dinner followed by a trivia contest. A good time was had by all.
- On April 27th, the Lodge's Charities Committee (Bob Brickner, Stu Chimkin, Herm London and CC Mort Plattner) met to develop a framework for charities selection this year.
Our 2010 Budget includes $5150 to be allocated to deserving charities vs. last year's budget of $3700. On Wednesday, 6/9/10, at our closed meeting, the proposed Charities Distribution for 2010 was presented to the membership. The charities chosen were approved unanimously and they are:

Minimum grant to any charity remains the same as last year, i.e. $150.
